students who complete all core, major, and related requirements.

A minimum of 62 hours (with a minimum 2.00 grade point average) must be taken to receive the Associate of Arts Degree from ASU-Beebe. At least 19 hours of electives must be selected with the approval of an advisor.
Grades earned that are lower than a "C" may not transfer to another institution.

Choose from two 4-hour credit lab courses in: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physical Science, Physics, Zoology. Pay close attention to course pre-requisites.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION– 2 hours
Choose two 1-hour credit courses in Physical Education, or take Concepts of Fitness for 3 hours of credit (the extra hour will count toward the Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts electives below)
ELECTIVES - 19 hours
These courses should be approved by the advisor and should be concentrated in one area of emphasis, such as the one below. Courses should be transferable to a 4-year institution as degree requirements or as electives. Students who change majors or choice of transfer institutions after selecting electives may encounter difficulty in transferability and/or financial aid.
Some programs require specific courses or have certain prerequisites which will also fulfill University Core Requirements. The courses which apply to a major in Computer Information Systems follow:
