What is Freshman Seminar?
Freshman Seminar is a one hour course designed to assist students in obtaining information and skills necessary to succeed in college. University programs, policies, and resources are presented along with a special emphasis on study skills. It is required for full-time, first-time entering students who are required to take one or more remedial courses (including Intermediate Algebra), and for transfers with fewer than 15 transfer credits who are required to take one or more remedial courses.
