Arkansas State University-Beebe

Scholarships, Financial Aid and Full-time Status

ASU-Beebe Scholarships:

Students on ASU-Beebe academic scholarships must successfully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester excluding developmental courses. Developmental classes are non-credit courses and will not be included in the credit hour load for scholarship purposes.

Federal Financial Aid

Students have 6 full-time semesters of enrollment to complete their associate’s degree. Transfer work will be treated the same as on-campus.

Incomplete course work will be evaluated as failing until courses are satisfactorily completed.

Withdrawal from the university is viewed as unsatisfactory progress and automatically generates a cancellation of financial aid for subsequent semesters. (Students may follow the appeal procedures to document extenuating circumstances).

Undergraduate students must successfully complete at least two-thirds of their attempted coursework per year.

Full-time Status:

Students on scholarships need to take twelve credit hours. If a student is in jeopardy of failing a class or dropping a class, refer to Counseling Center.

Some dependant students are required to maintain full-time status due to their health care coverage.

Some programs such as Arkansas Rehab may require full time status.
